Every valet we carry out is done with care and attention to detail that makes your car stand out from the crowd. A standard valet takes about one to two and a half hours to complete.
Washing Techniques - The basics
Alot of people don't realise that washing your car can cause damage to the paintwork if done in a incorrect manner. The main problem being using a sponge in circular motions causing swirl marks or spider web effect and worst still scratches. The problem with using a sponge is its flat surface. Any grit particles are trapped between the sponge and the paintwork dragging the grit across your paintwork, inflicting swirl marks and light scratches. That's why we only use microfibre and lambswool wash mitts which are long piled and trap any grit particles deep into the mitt away from the paintwork.
We also use a two bucket method (TBM) for washing, one bucket has clean water with shampoo the other just clean water. We rinse the wash mitt regularly in the clean bucket of water to remove any grit or dirt before reapplying to the bodywork again.

Drying the car is another area where damage can occur. Alot of people use a chamios leather to dry the car but these are very short pile with no protection to avoid swirls and scratches. At detail valeting we only use microfibre drying towels which have a very plush deep pile for paintwork protection.
